For several years, many of the founders participated in road races and walks , followed by socializing. Turn that the participation in a more systematic and formal, took them to create a group , club and association . The main bond of this union was related with the Corgas village , where almost all these friends and their families are from .
The main goals of this assotiation are: - Provide its members the practice of walking and running / athletics and recreation hillsides competition. - Contribute to the dissemination and awareness of the physical and social benefits of athletics in particular and sports in general practice. - Contribute to the promotion of our region, especially the village of Corgas and the village of Proenca-a-Nova.
The Club was formally born on February 26, 2012 , at the General Meeting held at the home of a member in Costa da Caparica .
The Club officially name (RNPC) was creted on June 20, 2012 , with the first official General Assembly that was held on 14 July of the same year , at our headquarters in Corgas .
